: Gerardo Parra doubled twice and drove in three runs as host Arizona evened the three-game series at one win apiece.

Aaron Hill hit a solo homer and a two-run single, Miguel Montero registered his second straight three-hit performance and Wade Miley pitched 6 1/3 solid innings while adding an RBI double for the Diamondbacks, who remained nine games behind Cincinnati for the second National League wild-card spot with 15 contests remaining.

Todd Helton delivered an RBI double and scored on Nolan Arenado's single in the seventh inning for Colorado, which fell to 2-6 on its nine-game road trip. The Rockies have lost eight of their last 11 overall.

Parra opened the scoring in the second inning with a two-run double and added an RBI two-base hit in the sixth before scoring on Miley's double to make it 4-0. After Colorado halved the deficit in the top of the seventh, Hill led off the bottom half with his 10th homer before capping a three-run eighth with his single.

Miley (10-10) yielded two runs and six hits as he snapped his six-start winless streak while improving to 6-0 lifetime against the Rockies. Colorado's Roy Oswalt (0-6) allowed two runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 frames.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Montero went 3-for-5 and scored twice after going 3-for-3 with a three-run homer in Friday's series opener. They are the veteran's first three-hit efforts since he went 4-for-6 at Los Angeles on June 12. ... Colorado 2B DJ LeMahieu extended his career-best hitting streak to 14 games with a single in the first inning. ... Rockies RF Michael Cuddyer went 0-for-4 but remains the leading hitter in the NL with a .332 average.
