Astros 5, White Sox 4
Astros 5, White Sox 4: Matt Dominguez hit a three-run double and Jason Castro added a two-run homer as host Houston extended its winning streak to four games.
Dallas Keuchel (4-3) allowed two runs and four hits over 6 1/3 effective innings and three relievers bridged the gap to Jose Veras, who made things interesting before recording his 14th save. The Astros look to complete a sweep of the four-game series Monday night.
Alejandro De Aza belted a two-run shot in the ninth for the White Sox, who have lost four straight overall and 12 of 13 on the road. Hector Santiago (2-5) struck out eight but yielded three runs on five hits and four walks in 5 1/3 frames.
Houston loaded the bases in the second on a single and two walks before Dominguez cleared them with a double down the left-field line. De Aza and Dayan Viciedo hit leadoff triples and scored in the sixth and seventh, respectively, but Astros reliever Jose Cisnero escaped a bases-loaded jam in the seventh by striking out De Aza and inducing a groundout by Alexei Ramirez to keep it at 3-2.
Jose Altuve hit an infield single in the bottom half and stole second before Castro deposited a 1-2 offering from Matt Thornton over the wall in left for his 10th blast of the season and second in as many days, pushing the lead to 5-2.
