Yovani Gallardo pitched eight scoreless innings and Jonathan Lucroy went 4-for-5 with a pair of RBIs as visiting Milwaukee extended its winning streak to four games.

Gallardo (5-6) allowed four hits and recorded four strikeouts, including the 1,000th of his career, to improve to 4-0 lifetime against the Marlins. Rickie Weeks added three hits - including a solo homer - and Carlos Gomez registered three and two RBIs for the Brewers, who matched their season high with 16 hits.

Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton, out since April 29 with a hamstring injury, returned to the lineup and was 1-for-4 with a single. Ricky Nolasco (3-7), who was coming off four consecutive solid outings, was tagged for four runs on 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Norichika Aoki doubled to lead off the first inning and later scored on Gomez's single before Lucroy made it 2-0 with a two-out RBI base hit. Aoki singled and scored again on a two-out, run-scoring base hit by Gomez in the second.

Weeks hammered a 1-1 pitch from Nolasco over the left-field fence with two outs in the third as the Brewers extended their advantage to 4-0. Milwaukee recorded three double plays and held the shutout until Juan Pierre tripled with one out in the ninth and scored on a groundout by Ed Lucas.

Marlins INF Donovan Solano and 1B Joe Mahoney both were activated and optioned to Triple-A New Orleans.
