Marlins 6, Giants 3

Marcell Ozuna’s tiebreaking RBI single highlighted a three-run eighth inning as visiting Miami continued its surprising dominance over San Francisco.

Logan Morrison added a solo homer for the Marlins, who have won nine in a row against the Giants at AT&T Park. A.J. Ramos (1-2) tossed a scoreless seventh inning for his first career win and Steve Cishek retired Buster Posey with two on in the ninth for his 12th save.

The Marlins broke open a tie game in the eighth with three runs on four hits against four San Francisco relievers, including rookie Jake Dunning (0-1). Ozuna, who delivered a two-run single in the eighth inning of Thursday’s 2-1 victory, came through again as his RBI base hit off Jean Machi put the Marlins ahead 4-3.

Greg Dobbs followed with a run-scoring single, and Adeiny Hechavarria's infield hit and a throwing error by Giants shortstop Joaquin Arias led to another run for Miami, which has won five of its last seven road games. Marlins starter Ricky Nolasco received a no-decision after allowing three runs over 5 2/3 innings while throwing 104 pitches.

Miami trailed 3-1 after Hunter Pence’s RBI double in the fifth before responding with two in the sixth off Tim Lincecum, who gave up three runs with eight strikeouts over seven innings. Miami set a club record for most consecutive wins in an opponent’s stadium with the victory.
