ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Toronto Blue Jays rallied for two runs with two outs in the ninth inning to beat the Texas Rangers 6-5 Tuesday night.
The win moved the Blue Jays 15 games over .500 for the first time since the end of the 1993 season.
Tuesday's win came in dramatic fashion as Toronto (70-55) scored against Texas closer Shawn Tolleson, who was 25-for-26 in save situations coming into the game.
Two walks hurt Tolleson, and then Toronto shortstop Troy Tulowitzki tied the game at 5 by flipping a full-count single to left field.
The Rangers then the Blue Jays the lead when Josh Donaldson reached on throwing error by Texas third baseman Adrian Beltre, which allowed Ben Revere to score the winning run.
Roberto Osuna closed out the game for his 15th save. LaTroy Hawkins (1-0) pitched a scoreless eighth to earn the win.
The Blue Jays hit three homers off Texas starter Derek Holland.
The Rangers got homers from second baseman Rougned Odor and center fielder Delino DeShields to tie the game at 3 after three innings.
Texas took a 5-3 lead in the fourth on a double from Odor and a sacrifice fly from left fielder Ryan Strausborger. The Jays got a run back in the sixth on a homer from designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion.
Toronto also got a solo homer from first baseman Chris Colabello in the second and a two-run shot from right fielder Jose Bautista in the third.
Holland allowed four runs and seven hits in six innings. Toronto starter Mark Buehrle also pitched six innings, giving up five runs on seven hits.

He is the second Texas pitcher to accomplish the feat in the past 15 seasons (Joe Nathan, 2013). ... Texas 1B Mike Napoli was out of the starting lineup for the first time against a left-handed pitcher since he was acquired from Boston. Manager Jeff Banister said he expected Napoli to start Tuesday vs. Toronto LHP David Price. ... The 36 runs scored by Toronto in its three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels were the second most a team has scored in a three-game series this season. ...Toronto RHP Marcus Stroman, who has missed the entire season with a torn left ACL, had no issues with the knee following his simulated game Monday. Stroman will throw another simulated game Friday.
