PHOENIX -- Rookie shortstop Corey Seager had four hits including his first major league home run and drove in three runs in the Dodgers' 9-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on Saturday.
Left fielder Carl Crawford homered to open the game and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and center fielder Joc Pederson homered in the third inning as the Dodgers built a 7-0 lead.
Seager's homer in the fifth inning made it 8-4 after Arizona scored three runs in the fourth.
Seager also scored three times and is 14-for-30 with eight RBIs in nine games since being recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sept. 3. He has reached base in nine straight plate appearances.
Arizona left fielder David Peralta's bases-empty homer in the seventh inning made the score 8-5.
The Dodgers added an insurance run on pinch-hitter Alex Guerrero's RBI double in the ninth.
Pederson had three hits and two RBIs and Gonzalez had two hits and an RBI as the Dodgers (81-60) broke a two-game losing streak with their sixth victory in eight games.
Left fielder Ender Inciarte had two hits and an RBI and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt had two doubles for Arizona (68-74), which had won three of four.
Left-hander J.P Howell, one of eight Dodgers pitchers, retired the only batter he faced for the victory. He is 6-1.
Arizona right-hander Rubby De La Rosa (12-8) gave up six runs in two-plus innings.
Gonzalez hit his 27th homer of the season leading off a five-run third inning.
Third baseman Justin Turner singled and scored on right fielder Andre Ethier's double to make it 3-0. De La Rosa threw a high-inside fastball to Seager, which resulted in warnings issued to both benches.
Seager lined a single to center field, scoring Ethier and knocking out De La Rosa.
Pederson's two-out, two-run homer made it 7-0.
NOTES: Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig is rehabbing at the Dodgers' training facility in suburban Glendale but did not attend the first two games of the series in Phoenix. "I expected to see him, honestly," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. Puig has been out since Aug. 28 with a strained right hamstring. He has missed 53 games because of injuries to both hamstrings. ... Arizona 1B Paul Goldschmidt entered game with 99 RBIs, one short of joining OF Luis Gonzalez as the only players in franchise history with two 100-RBI seasons. Goldschmidt had 125 RBIs in 2013. ... Dodgers SS Jimmy Rollins was held out of the lineup after experiencing tenderness in his finger after hitting and throwing a few days ago. "No real true timetable," Mattingly said. "I think we want to stay away from doing any more hitting or throwing until this series is over." ... Dodgers 2B Howie Kendrick (hamstring) will take live hitting Monday and Tuesday in Los Angeles, Mattingly said, but has yet to run full speed. ... Arizona OF Peter O'Brien had an RBI single in his first major league plate appearance as a pinch hitter Saturday. He also played three innings in left field.
