Cubs-Rockies game rained out; DH on Tuesday
DENVER -- The start of the three-game series between the Chicago Cubs and the Colorado Rockies was delayed a day, as the scheduled Monday night game was postponed due to rain.
The teams will play a day-night doubleheader on Tuesday, with the first game scheduled for 12:10 p.m. MT followed by the regularly scheduled game at 6:40 p.m. MT.
The postponement could benefit the Cubs, particularly their bullpen, after their 5-4 loss to the New York Yankees on Sunday night went 18 innings and finished at 1:14 a.m. local time Monday.
