Despite Fine and Suspension, Nate Diaz Continues to Bash Bryan Caraway on Twitter

The Diaz brothers have never been shy about saying exactly what they think and a 90-day suspension and $20,000 fine isn’t going to change that.

As eDraft reported on Friday, recent lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz was issued sanctions for a tweet aimed at UFC bantamweight Bryan Caraway.

The tweet, which has since been deleted, read:

“I feel bad for pat Healy that they took a innocent mans money and I think the guy who took the money is the biggest F*g in the world .. #sorryasslittlebitch”

Healy lost $135,000 in bonus money from UFC 159 after testing positive for marijuana after the April pay-per-view event.

As a result, UFC President Dana White decided to give Healy’s “Submission of the Night” bonus to Caraway, who submitted Johnny Bedford with a mounted guillotine on the same card.

Acting completely indifferent to the recent turn of events, Diaz wrote on Friday that his opinion of “Kid Lightning” hasn’t changed one bit:

“#urstillasorryassbitch,” Diaz wrote.

Getting the bonus dollars has turned out to be one of the worst things possible for Caraway as he has been getting nothing but negative press since then.

First, Caraway came off as overly critical at best when he blasted any fighters who use marijuana when speaking to MMA Junkie earlier in the week.

Next, Bellator women’s flyweight Michelle Ould, via Twitter, accused her former Team Quest teammate of selling performance-enhancing drugs to her roommate. Caraway vehemently denied the claim.

Additionally, upcoming UFC women’s bantamweight title challenger Cat Zingano accused Caraway of elbowing her in the head prior to weigh-ins at “The Ultimate Fighter” 17 Finale last month.

Caraway scored a come from behind TKO over Caraway’s girlfriend, Miesha Tate, at the event. Neither Caraway nor Tate responded to Bloody Elbow, the media outlet that initially published the story.

As if that wasn’t all bad enough, Caraway still seems to have some unfinished business with the always brutally honest Diaz.
