Former two-time Strikeforce middleweight title contender Tim Kennedy has been angling for a bout with perennial UFC contender for months now and it looks like he’s getting tired of waiting.
On Tuesday morning, Kennedy tweeted a picture of a mock bout agreement with “Michelle Bisping”, which he signed, to UFC President Dana White and Bisping.
He agreed to fight “The Count” at any date, at any place for a five-round affair.
Bisping, one of the company’s most notorious trash talkers, seemed open to the matchup but was anything but cordial when accepting the challenge.
“I’m gonna laugh so hard when I just absolutely walk right through you, you dumb mother******!” Bisping tweeted back.
Kennedy opted to take the high road when retaliating in the war of words.
“you (sic) are always so eloquent with your replies,” Kennedy responded.
Kennedy has won nine of his past 11 bouts and hasn’t lost a non-title fight since December 2007.
His most recent performance was a blistering “Knockout of the Night” over Rafael Natal at UFC: Fight for the Troops 3 in November.
Meanwhile, Bisping has won six of his past eight matchups, losing title eliminator bouts to Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort during the three-and-a-half year span.
