After the Boston Celtics brought back guard Avery Bradley too soon from a strained Achilles, the team is now playing it much safer this time around. After Bradley aggravated the injury on Jan.16, he has missed the past eight straight games as he slowly works his way back.
While Bradley has started to work out at practice and could return in the near future, Boston feels it's just too early to bring him back against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.
With Bradley out of the lineup, Jaylen Brown will start in his place. The rookie out of California has averaged over 22 minutes per night in the last six games, though the scoring has been limited. While he isn't on the fantasy radar, Marcus Smart should see another 30-plus minutes on the court tonight and has shown he can fill out the stat sheet with rebounds, assists, steals and 10-plus points.
