While the Cleveland Cavaliers received some good news on Saturday when Deron Williams cleared waivers and is now expected to sign with the team, some bad news followed a short time later. All Star LeBron James will miss Saturday's game with an illness.
LeBron missed Cleveland's shootaround this morning, but some had optimism he would play after James posted a triple double in a win the night before. But with a matchup set against the Chicago Bulls on the second game of a back-to-back, Cleveland sided for the health of its star and held him out of the lineup.
James averages nearly 38 minutes per night in February, so there will be a lot of minutes to go around. Richard Jefferson slides into the lineup, but the 36-year-old should be way off the DFS radar.
With LeBron not even in attendance tonight, it will be the Kyrie Irving show. He's a good play against the Chicago Bulls and will have a massive usage rate with both LeBron and Kevin Love out of action. From a fantasy/DFS perspective, Kyle Korver should also receive a boost in shots and makes for a nice play given the usage and his recent hot streak.
