Jimmy Butler, Guard, Chicago Bulls
After missing Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings with a left knee injury, Butler told reporters on Friday that he expects to play on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets.
Butler's return means a major fantasy downgrade for E'Twaun Moore, who was coming off a career-high in points, Tony Snell will go back to the bench.
Pau Gasol, Center, Chicago Bulls
While Chicago may have Butler back on the court tonight, the team is still unsure of Gasol's status. Gasol suffered a hand sprain against the Sacramento Kings and is a game-time call as of 2 p.m PST. If he is unable to suit up, Taj Gibson ($5,300) and Bobby Portis ($3,500) should see the biggest gains in value against the Nuggets.
Kemba Walker, Guard, Charlotte Hornets
The Bobcats will be very happy on Friday night with the news that Walker should return to the court after missing Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a knee injury. Walker was able to practice on Thursday and told reporters the soreness in his knee had gone down, giving him enough confidence to where he should start on Friday against the Miami Heat.
Jae Crowder, Forward, Boston Celtics
After rolling his ankle in Wednesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons and saying he would be good to go on Friday, Crowder is listed as a game-time decision for the Celtics matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Crowder's confidence that he should be able to go has to give fantasy owners some confidence, but there won't be a clear decision until game time.
If Crowder is unable to suit up, Evan Turner ($5,500) should see the biggest boost in fantasy value, while Marcus Smart ($5,400) also offers some potential as a cheaper DFS play.
