Kenneth Faried, Forward, Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets enter Friday's game with a banged up roster, having already lost Danilo Gallinari for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, they expect to have Faried (back) available against the Brooklyn Nets. Faried played just 18 minutes on Wednesday, scoring 10 points with three rebounds. He should see a minutes increase tonight and with three double-doubles in his last four games, he makes for a nice play.
Kobe Bryant, Guard, Los Angeles Lakers
Bryant's shoulder injury has become a growing issue for him and will keep him out of action on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks. After playing just 11 minutes on Wednesday, Bryant had more soreness with the shoulder after the game and it resulted in him being ruled out hours before the game tonight. Los Angeles should take it easy with Bryant, bringing him along slowly so the shoulder can heal, while the young guards get a chance to play.
Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor, Center, Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers frontcourt will be taking a massive hit on Friday, ruling out Noel and Okafor before the team's game against the Miami Heat. Noel is battling right knee soreness and given the 76ers' rebuilding efforts, holding Noel out is the easy decision. With Okafor (shin) out as well, Carl Landry and Hollis Thompson will be in the starting lineup. Neither should be in consideration for DFS given they will likely be held under 25 minutes.
Victor Oladipo, Guard, Orlando Magic
Orlando entered Friday hoping to have Oladipo and Evan Fournier on the court for tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns. Oladipo worked out on the court before the game but was deemed not ready to go as he still recovers from a lower back contusion. Oladipo's absence should mean plenty of minutes and shots for Fournier against a Suns' team that has been incapable of defending guards this season.
