Point = 1pt, Rebound = 1.2pts, Assist = 1.5pts, Block = 2pts, Steal = 2pts, Turnover = -1pt
Alright let’s get right into it. To submit a valid roster for competition one must add nine players by using a salary cap of $60,000.
VALUE PLAYS:

Reggie Jackson continues to be the main provider for the Oklahoma City Thunder and while his fantasy value has climbed steadily there is still good value here. Jackson’s last five games have seen him score 22-plus points per game and average 7.6 rpg over the same stretch. Tonight the Houston Rockets come to town in what will inevitably be a lopsided loss for the Thunder. Once the Thunder start losing, Jackson starts attacking which is good for his fantasy line.

Aside from Anthony Davis, James Harden might be the best fantasy option out there. He continues to show that he is not just a one dimensional scorer as he is a legitimate triple-double threat every night. This matchup tonight for the Rockets is a great one as they will roll into Oklahoma and destroy the Thunder. As an added incentive, Harden must still get up for these games against his former club and bringing a beatdown to town will only add extra incentive for a huge night here.

I’m still recommending Draymond Green here as a solid buy; however, his salary has definitely risen over the past week as Green is proving himself as an everyday consistent fantasy option. The fact that he is similarly price to Kawhi Leonard and Tobias Harris has me a little concerned as both of those players are far more integral parts to their respective teams. Nonetheless this matchup tonight against the Lakers is a good time to buy on Draymond Green. Last game between these two teams, the combination of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 71 points. One can bet that head coach Byron Scott is going to have his defence key in on stopping those two, which should open up some opportunities for Green.

Jordan Hill has scored in double figures in 7 of the Los Angeles Lakers 8 games this season and he has three double-doubles in there as well. Tonight the Golden State Warriors come to the Staples Center for the second matchup between these two teams. In the last matchup Hill had a super game as he posted 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks. I’m looking for Hill to carry some of that confidence forward tonight and have another strong outing against the Warriors.
BAD BUYS:

Jeremy Lin has actually been a fairly pleasant fantasy surprise this season in Los Angeles as he has strung together five solid games in a row. The solid and productive play however will come to a crashing halt tonight as the Lakers host the Golden State Warriors. Two weeks ago these teams hooked up in Golden State and Lin had a terrible outing; he posted 6 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and had 5 turnovers. I’m looking for Lin to once again struggle here against the uber-aggressive backcourt players of the Warriors. Too much defensive responsibility for Lin and that will take it’s toll on him as the game progresses.
Arron Afflalo Shooting Guard
Afflalo has been a bust so far this season, he has not been anywhere near the player he was in Orlando as his points per game averages are half that of his last year’s numbers. Afflalo’s numbers so far this season are 9.9 ppg, 1.6 apg and 3.3 rpg and he has one game consisting of 31 minutes where he failed to score and two other games where he managed just 2 and 4 points on the night. Afflalo is capable of so much more but until he finds his way in Denver he definitely earns the bad buy rating.
Amare Stoudemire Power Forward
Stoudemire got off to a good start to the season but he has now hit a lag and slowed considerably. Much of his fantasy value is tied to earlier production and inflated due to name recognition. In truth, the last two games have seen him score a total of 12 points and contribute 13 total rebounds and only 1 assist with zero blocked shots and zero steals. For Stoudemire to give you any value he must score in double figures, grab 7-10 rebounds and chip in with those extra couple assists, blocks and steals. Right now Stoudemire is not being assertive around the basket and he just isn’t doing enough to warrant the buy here.

Larry Sanders struggles this season are mostly due to his inconsistent minutes on the court and the horrific matchups that head coach Jason Kidd has put on him. Having said that, Sanders hasn’t exactly done much to prove his worth either. Sanders last five games have seen him fail to score in double figures and he has posted zero double digit rebound games. Sanders has never been much of a scorer but his value is directly tied to his rebounding and blocked shots totals which have been lacking of late.
Here is my FanDuel NBA lineup for Sunday November 16th.
