Point Guard:
Star – Chris Paul, $9,600: Two 50+ fantasy point games in a row now for Paul and he will need to do some more heavy lifting with Blake Griffin extremely doubtful to play tonight. Paul has a great matchup versus a defensively inept Ricky Rubio as well.
Stud – Mike Conley, $7,000: The Grizzlies are currently the ninth team in the Western Conference but are only two games behind the sixth ranked Warriors. Expect all the Grizzlies players to giving it some extra effort tonight and Conley is heading into a great matchup versus Ty Lawson.
Scrub - Jerryd Bayless, $4,300: Bayless has paid off his salary nicely his last two games and will see a bump in playing time tonight with Rajon Rondo sitting out on the second half of a back to back versus the Bulls.
Shooting Guard:
Star – DeMar DeRozen, $7,900: Eastern Conference showdown tonight between the current two seed Heat and three seed Raptors. DeRozen has played well in the Raptors previous meetings with the Heat this season and will continue his breakout season with a solid game tonight.
Stud – Gordon Hayward, $6,900: The Knicks are awful against opposing shooting guards and Hayward is still fairly priced for the volume of minutes and upside he brings to the table.
Scrub - Austin Rivers, $3,700: Rivers played 30 minutes in the Pelicans ugly loss to the Spurs and put up a big fantasy game scoring 30.7 fantasy points. With Eric Gordon still without a set return date expect Rivers to get some extra run once again tonight.
Small Forward:
Star – LeBron James, $10,500: James put up a big ole dud in the Heat’s easy victory over the Bucks last game out. Expect a big bouce back performance tonight versus a tough Raptors team making him easily the top small forward for the night.
Stud – Matt Barnes, $5,400: With Griffin likely missing tonight’s game Barnes will find himself some more minutes a whole lot more production.
Scrub - Al-Farouq Aminu, $4,800: Aminu has done a solid job of paying off his salary with Anthony Davis out of the rotation. Davis may return tonight, but if he does not get Aminu into your FanDuel.com lineups.
Power Forward:
Star – Paul Millsap, $7,400: Amazing matchup for Millsap tonight versus a 76ers frontcourt that is giving up big numbers to opposing big men. The Hawks are currently eighth in the Eastern Conference and will look to stay ahead of the Knicks with a win tonight.
Stud – Zach Randolph, $7,000: Six of Randolph’s last seven games have resulted in 30+ fantasy points. The Nuggets front court has been abused by opposing big men for awhile now setting up Randolph for another great night in a must win game for the Grizzlies.
Scrub - Amar’e Stoudemire, $5,200: The Knicks are trying to bump the Hawks out of the playoffs and Stoudemire’s recent play is helping them get there. No danger of him resting on the back to back with the Knicks playoffs hopes in the balance.
Center:
Star – Joakim Noah, $9,400: Noah performed admirably versus the Celtics last night and gets to play them once again tonight.
Stud – DeAndre Jordan, $7,700: Jordan will be stepping up his offensive production in the paint tonight with Griffin likely missing the game. He already averages an impressive 13.7 rebounds a game this season so with a bump in offensive production he shall pay off his salary with ease.
Scrub - Henry Sims, $5,400: He continues to perform well for the 76ers and his price continues to be very moderate. Nice and solid matchup tonight versus a Hawks team that gives up big numbers to opposing centers.
