After missing Thursday's game for precautionary reasons, Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic. Irving's sore left shoulder proved not to be too significant of a concern, now fantasy owners can put it in the back of their minds.
Irving, who averages 24.1 points, five assists and 1.2 steals per game this season, returns to the court for a great matchup against Orlando. This season, Orlando rates as one of the five worst defenses in the NBA versus opposing point guards. This season, Orlando allows the fifth-highest average FanDuel Points Against (45.6), so Irving also makes for an excellent elite play at point guard in addition to his importance in season-long leagues.
His return to the court pushes down Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier's minutes. While Smart should still see significant playing time, his poor shooting and the reduced minutes further cut into any potential DFS value.
