The Atlanta Hawks have reportedly dealt All-Star forward Kyle Korver to the Cleveland Cavaliers. It's a rather surprising move for both teams. Atlanta currently sits as a top-five seed. Trading away one of its most integral parts seems to make no sense. Though, there are indications here that the Hawks may be tearing this thing down, especially with reports that Paul Millsap could be on the block as well.
From a fantasy perspective, Korver couldn't have landed in a better place than Cleveland. He's a career 42 percent three-point shooter and is shooting at a 41 percent mark this season. Players who shoot threes that are assisted by LeBron James rank No. 1 in the NBA in percentage over the past two-plus seasons. You can do the math there.
Korver is averaging about 25 minutes and 9.5 points thus far this season. With J.R. Smith out for the next couple months, there's no real reason to believe he won't average north of 30 minutes per outing until Smith returns. That will make Korver a stellar DFS play once he gets used to the system in Cleveland.
