In an otherwise meaningless late-season game between two bottom feeders, the Orlando Magic will be without starting guard Evan Fournier for Thursday's battle with the Brooklyn Nets. Fournier will miss his first game since January due to a wrist injury.
This wouldn't normally be coverage-worthy news from a fantasy standpoint, but with just a six-game slate on Thursday, Fournier himself surely was DFS relevant before the announcement that he would be sitting.
The fifth-year wing is averaging a career-best 17.2 points while shooting at a 35 percent mark from three-point range. With Fournier out of action, Jodie Meeks will get the start.
Though, expect the usage rate of Mario Hezonja and Terrence Ross to increase here.
