This is probably more of a case of the Utah Jazz attempting to get Rodney Hood completely healthy in time for the playoffs, but the team will sit Hood with a minor knee injury Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
He joins Raul Neto, George Hill and Derrick Favors in the sideline in a game that the Jazz have pretty much incidated isn't as important as their standing come playoff time.
Hood has been solid this season, averaging 17.0 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting at a 38 percent mark from three. Joe Ingles will see an uptick in usage and scoring opportunity with both Hood and Hill sidelined. Ingles is averaging 12.5 points and over four assists in the past four games.
