As with Danilo Gallinari, the Denver Nuggets will be missing fellow forward Wilson Chandler for Monday's game agains the Houston Rockets. It's the fourth consecutive game that Chandler has sat out due to a groin injury he suffered earlier in the month.
Considering he is the Nuggets second leading scorer behind the aforementioned Gallinari, this continues to remain a blow for Denver.
As we mentioned in the Gallinari article, rookie Jamal Murray should see an uptick in usage here. Though, look for Denver to also continue using Nikola Jokic and Mason Plumlee together with one another instead of going small with either Gallinari or Chandler at the four.
Jokic has been absolutely dominating this season, averaging 16.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. For his part, Plumlee has consistently seen 30-plus minutes over the past seven games. He's averaging 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists during that span.
