With the NBA Trade Deadline just over a month away, the rumor mill slowly turns with some tidbits of players who could be on the move. On Friday, a potentially big name dropped on the rumor mill when ESPN's Marc Stein reported that Denver Nuggets center Jusuf Nurkic is likely to be moved in February.

The 22-year-old big man was a first-round pick in 2014 averaged 6.9 points and 6.2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game as a rookie and seemed poised to be the Nuggets' center, but surgery to repair a torn patella tendon held him out of action for much of the season in 2015 and he made just three starts with 29 appearances coming off the bench. While Nurkic got a chance to start the season, his spot was quickly overtaken by Nikola Jokic, who has been phenomenal as of late and firmly secured heavy minutes and the starting spot as the Nuggets' center.

This season, Nurkic is averaging 8.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game with around 19 minutes per game.

Denver is now ready to find Nurkic a new home where the young big man would have the opportunity to start and get significantly more minutes than he is getting now in Denver. Nurkic's fantasy value is low right now, but a trade could vault him back into fantasy relevance and would also be a boost for Kenneth Faried, who would gain more minutes.
