It looks like Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor will miss his second consecutive game with soreness in his right knee. He's being considered doubtful to play Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks and was limited in practice Monday morning.
Philadelphia has played it close to the vest with its youngsters, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Okafor sat here.
With Joel Embiid now lost for the season and Nerlens Noel being traded to Dallas, a big man situation in Philly that was once deep has been eroded big time.
The expectation here is that Richaun Holmes will see an uptick in minutes at center. He's averaging 7.5 points and 4.4 rebounds on the minutes.
Though, we can expect Brett Brown to go with a small-ball lineup at times on Monday, primarily focusing on Dario Saric to be the No. 1 option. The rookie has been splendid this season, averaging 11.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in 25 minutes of action per game on the season.
