Golden State Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green got in a tangle with Spencer Hawes in Wednesday's win over the Charlotte Hornets. Green was in visible pain, but remained in the game.
Now, one day later, the Warriors have ruled Green out for Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers.
This is a pretty big blow for the Warriors. Green has acted the part of an all-around stud for the team over the past several seasons. This year alone, the two-time All-Star is averaging 10.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. He's definitely been a fantasy dynamo.
With Green out of action, look for Kevon Looney and James Michael McAdoo to see the court more. Though, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant will remain the heavy lifters for the 42-7 Warriors.
