DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points and 10 rebounds as host Sacramento upended San Antonio.
Darren Collison scored 19 points and Rudy Gay added 18 for the Kings, who halted a three-game losing streak. Cousins helped Sacramento dominate the interior with a 58-34 edge in points in the paint as well as end a nine-game skid against the Spurs.
Manu Ginobili scored 21 points and Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard had 16 points apiece for San Antonio. Ginobili converted a three-point play with 8.3 seconds left before missing a last-second 3-point shot.
The Kings led 87-84 after a basket by Cousins with 2:53 remaining before Ginobili and Parker hit back-to-back baskets to give San Antonio an 88-87 edge with 2:01 to play. Gay hit two free throws with 1:47 to play, Collison added a layup with 28.4 seconds and Cousins hit two free throws seven seconds later.
Sacramento rolled off 12 straight points late in the first half and the burst led to a 45-38 lead at the break. The Kings led by as many as 12 in third quarter before taking a 70-66 lead into the final stanza.
