It took all but one half for Tom Savage to be benched as the Houston Texans' starter for rookie No. 12 overall pick Deshaun Watson. 

It came after Savage completed 7-of-13 passes for 62 yards with two lost fumbles as the Jacksonville Jaguars took a 19-0 lead into halftime. 

Promptly, Watson would respond by leading the Texans on a 14-play, 75-yard touchdown scoring drive that culminated in a scoring strike to DeAndre Hopkins.
