It has been a miserable season for Chicago bears receiver Alshon Jeffery. He started in the regular season opener despite a calf injury, but then a hamstring injury popped up and has kept him out of action since. After practicing in a limited capacity on Wednesday and Thursday, Jeffery missed all of Friday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
It seemed each week reports grew more positive to Jeffery getting back on the field and suiting up, but then it is all for nothing when his status is ruled out toward the end of the week. It hasn't helped that Bears' coach John Fox has treated the injury report like top secret, classified information that only one person on earth should know.
This latest report with Jeffery missing practice seems like a strong indicator he will miss his fourth straight week of action. On top of that, Eddie Royal is also questionable for Sunday's game.
From a daily fantasy football perspective, the focus should be on Martellus Bennett, who should continue to see a plethora of targets from Jay Cutler, with Jeffery expected to miss the game.
