On the knee injury scale, this one might qualify as minor. First-year Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman will likely be sidelined for the remainder of the preseason with a sprained Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL).
This news is a bit surprising considering Ravens head coach John Harbaugh indicated earlier in the week that Perriman's MRI came back normal.
It should also be alarming to fantasy football owners out there. This likely means that Perriman will be out until Week 1 of the regular season. Remember, he hasn't practiced since the first day of training camp.
Once he does return, the rookie receiver might have an uphill climb to gain the starting job many figured he had locked up behind Steve Smith. As of right now, Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown are vying for that all-important distinction.
With an ADP in the 12th round, Perriman becomes a risky play. Neither Aiken or Brown are rosterable right now.
