Best and Worst Fantasy Receivers Entering Week 4

Entering the fourth Sunday of the 2013 season, we have an idea of which players have been consistently good and which players will continue to perform up to level in the coming weeks.

There have been some surprises here and there, but those who have struggled should rebound and prove their worth to fantasy owners. With that said, here are eDraft's best and worst wide receivers through three weeks.

Rank Player Team Rec Yds TD
1 Julio Jones Falcons 27 373 2
2 DeSean Jackson Eagles 19 359 2
3 Jordy Nelson Packers 18 289 3
4 Antonio Brown Steelers 20 324 2
5 Calvin Johnson Lions 17 268 3

Julio Jones leads the NFL in receptions and receiving yards through three weeks. He's quickly become Matt Ryan's favorite target with Roddy White slowed down by injury. Don't expect his production to decrease anytime in the near future. His ceiling is pretty much where it's at right now, the No. 1 overall fantasy receiver.

DeSean Jackson seems to have reverted back to top-tier fantasy status under Chip Kelly's new offense. His performance through the first two games sent a note to those who didn't believe he had what it took to become an elite fantasy option once again. While Jackson did struggle to an extent against the Kansas City Chiefs Week 3, he's likely going to have another outstanding fantasy performance against the Denver Broncos in what promises to be a shootout.

Ben Roethlisberger seems to have a major impact on how well his receivers perform in fantasy football. For the past couple seasons it was Mike Wallace, who came out of nowhere to act as a top-tier option. Since Wallace has moved on to South Beach, Antonio Brown has been that guy. The young receiver put up a stellar effort against a great Chicago Bears defense last week and appears to be on the upswing.

Let's take a look at some of the biggest wide receiver busts through three weeks...

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys: 18th-ranked fantasy receiver, 17 receptions, 201 yards and two touchdowns

Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 29th-ranked fantasy receiver, 15 receptions, 265 yards and zero touchdowns

Marques Colston, New Orleans Saints: 31st-ranked fantasy receiver, 14 receptions, 202 yards and one touchdown

Andre Johnson, Houston Texans: 32nd-ranked fantasy receiver, 25 receptions, 258 yards and zero touchdowns

Mike Wallace, Miami Dolphins: 46th-ranked fantasy receiver, 12 receptions, 152 yards and one touchdown

Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants: 51st-ranked fantasy receiver, Nine receptions, 197 yards and zero touchdowns

Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs: 66th-ranked fantasy receiver, Nine receptions, 90 yards and one touchdown
