Best Fantasy Football Performances From Sunday's Week 4 Action

Andrew Luck, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts

Statistics: 393 yards, four touchdowns and one interception (29.62 points)

Going up against a Tennessee Titans defense that's going to be a fantasy dream for owners moving forward this season, Luck put up his second consecutive four-touchdown game in another dominating Colts victory. He is now the top fantasy quarterback (102.50 points). And it's not even close, with Matt Ryan coming in second at 80.22 points. That's amazing in and of itself. With a remaining schedule that still includes four games against AFC South opponents, don't expect this to change anytime soon.

Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers

Statistics: 32 passing yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions (27.88 points)

Rodgers finally put up a fantasy performance that has been the norm for him over the years. Taking on a Chicago Bears defense that has been surprisingly good up until Week 4, Rodgers dominated to the tune of 22-of-28 passing for over 300 yards and four scores. Despite struggles earlier in the season, Rodgers is now the fifth-ranked fantasy quarterback through four weeks. Expect the remainder of his campaign to be closer to this Week 4 performance than his first three outings. In this, Rodgers is back at top his game as a fantasy football stud.

Joe Flacco, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens

Statistics: 327 passing yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions (25.38 points)

For the third consecutive week, Flacco showed that he can perform at a high level when the Ravens have balance on the offensive side of the ball. He attempted 31 passes and connected with Steve Smith to the tune seven catches for 139 yards in a 25-point performance. This represented Flacco's first QB1 outing since he put up over 60 passes in a Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. While I would still warn against relying on him as anything more than a bye-week replacement right now, things are looking up for the eigth-ranked fantasy quarterback.

Frank Gore, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers

Statistics: 119 rushing yards, 55 receiving yards and one touchdown (24.40 points)

See what happens when Gore is fed the ball? After seeing just six attempts in a Week 3 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, this veteran running back put up over 170 yards in an electrifying performance against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Once San Francisco decided to get back to the basics in the second half of its win against Philadelphia, Gore showed us all that he hasn't slowed down a step, even at the age of 31. Does this indicate fantasy success moving forward? That's a question that I am willing to answer with an emphatic yes. Gore could very well be a solid under-the-radar RB2 option for the remainder of the season.

DeMarco Murray, Running Back, Dallas Cowboys

Statistics: 149 rushing yards, six receiving yards and two touchdowns (28.50 points)

Murray has simply been one of the best players in the NFL through the first four weeks of the season. He followed up solid performances in the Cowboys first three outings with a 155-yard, two touchdown game against what it quickly becoming a bad New Orleans Saints defense. Equally as important for Murray's fantasy value moving forward, he did not put the ball on the ground in this one. Through Week 4 (with Monday Night Football still to play), Murray is the No. 1 ranked fantasy running back by over 10 points.

Matt Asiata, Running Back, Minnesota Vikings

Statistics: 78 rushing yards, 22 receiving yards and three touchdowns (31.00 fantasy points)

Don't take Asiata's performance from Sunday as an indication that he's going to be a must start each week. In fact, Jerick McKinnon (18 rushes, 135 yards against Atlanta) is a better long-term fantasy option this year. But we simply cannot deny the fact that Asiata finished Sunday as the No. 1 ranked fantasy running back after putting up three touchdowns.

Steve Smith, Wide Receiver, Baltimore Ravens

Statistics: seven receptions, 139 yards and two touchdowns (32.90 points)

Going up against his former team, Smith had his best performance in a couple years. The future Hall of Fame (in my mind), received 10 targets and came down with two touchdowns against what was an over-matched Carolina Panthers defense. This is just par for the course for Smith, who has been downright dominating for Baltimore this year. He's now the fourth-ranked fantasy receiver on the season.

Jordy Nelson, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers

Statistics: 10 receptions, 108 yards and two touchdowns (32.80 points)

It's getting somewhat ridiculous here. After receiving another 13 targets on Sunday, Nelson is on pace to receive nearly 200 targets on the season. It's equated to success for him since a poor Week 1 performance, as Nelson is now the second-ranked fantasy receiver on the season. He added nearly 33 points on Sunday by putting up touchdowns of three and 11 yards in a blowout win over the Chicago Bears.

Heath Miller, Tight End, Pittsburgh Steelers

Statistics: 10 receptions, 85 yards and one touchdown (24.50 points)

Miller is up to his old antics with Big Ben. Struggling finding much going on the outside, Ben Roethlisberger went to his safety valve in Miller, who was targeted 11 times on the day. This could very well be a sign of things to come for the veteran tight end.
