Best Fantasy Football Performances of Week 13

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Quarterback, Houston Texans

For the first time this season, Fitzpatrick makes an appearance here for his chart-topping performance in Week 13. Fitzpatrick had a phenomenal game against a suspect Titans’ defense, passing for six touchdowns on top of 358 yards with no interceptions. If you started Fitzpatrick as your quarterback for whatever reason, or played him in a daily fantasy football league, you certainly banked off of his generous 39.32 fantasy points from Week 13. While it would be awesome if Fitzpatrick produced in this manner every week, he’ll likely conform to reality in Week 14 when the Texans play in Jacksonville.

Andrew Luck, Quarterback, Indianapolis Colts

Luck amazed all-around in Week 13 throwing for a career-high five touchdown passes. With all those incredible touchdowns and 370 yards, we’ll forget all about Luck’s one interception and lost fumble. Completing 19 of 27 passing attempts, Luck was unstoppable against the Washington Redskins as he offered his fantasy football owners 32.80 points in Week 13. Luck will give it another go against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14.

Tre Mason, Running Back, St. Louis Rams

Mason has been a bit of a roller coaster this season. However if you rolled with Mason in Week 13, he hands-down had his best performance of the season this past Sunday. The scoreless Oakland Raiders were no match for Mason who had an incredible 89-yard sprinting touchdown to contribute in Week 13. Finishing the day with a grand total 164 yards and three touchdowns had fantasy owners completely stoked with the 34.40 points he earned in Week 13. Soak it all in, because Mason may be a bit more challenged against Washington’s fourth-ranked rush defense in Week 14.

Le’Veon Bell, Running Back, Pittsburgh Steelers

Bell didn’t miss a beat returning from his bye week by offering his best fantasy performance of the season thus far. Week 13 had Bell rushing for 95 yards while piling on an spectacular 159 yards in receptions. Add in a beautiful rushing touchdown, and Bell rewarded his fantasy owners with a whopping 31.4 points in Week 13. With another prime opportunity to cross the 100-plus yard mark in Week 14, Bell faces a giving Bengals’ defense who rank fifth-worst against the run.

C.J. Anderson, Running Back, Denver Broncos

For those who acquired Anderson when he assumed the lead running back duties in Denver back in Week 9, you got the real deal. Anderson, no matter what type of defense he is up against just continues to push out amazing amount rushing yards as proven by his Week 13 performance. Those who started the Broncos’ workhorse this past week, were the recipient of 24.5 fantasy points. At the end of a big win for Denver over Kansas City, Anderson tallied up 185 total yards and scored a receiving touchdown. Anderson does face a second-ranked Bills’ rush defense in Week 14, however he remains a must-start due to the fact that he is just too darn good to consider benching.

DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans

Let’s just hope those who owned Hopkins had the notion to start him in Week 13. Having his ultimate performance of the season and his NFL career, Hopkins was dominant in the Texans’ offense in a massive win over the Tennessee Titans. Spot-on perfect had Hopkins catching all nine of his targets and racking up an astonishing 238 receiving yards. Top that off with two touchdowns and Hopkins finished Week 13 as the top fantasy wide receiver rewarding 35.80 fantasy points. Hopkins will travel to Jacksonville for his next game.

Calvin Johnson, Wide Receiver, Detroit Lions

Johnson finally delivered to his fantasy owners more of what they’ve been pleading for since Week 1. In an awesome Thanksgiving day performance, the Detroit Lions had their way with the Chicago Bears, and Megatron connected with quarterback, Matthew Stafford all game long. Catching 11 passes for 146 yards and scoring two touchdowns had Johnson offering up 26.60 fantasy points in Week 13. Let’s hope the chemistry between Johnson and Stafford continues in Week 14 against Tampa Bay.

Donte Moncrief, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts

Somebody had to be the recipient of all those yards Luck was throwing in Week 14, and one of those somebodies was Colts’ rookie Moncrief. It was probably rare that Moncrief was in anyone’s regular fantasy lineup, however he could have been started in plenty of daily fantasy leagues, due to the bargain price for which he could have been obtained. Moncrief made the most of the three catches, going off for 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Taking the Washington Redskins defense to the cleaners, Moncrief finished up Week 13 with 26.0 fantasy points.

Coby Fleener, Tight End, Indianapolis Colts

Speaking of Colts and an incredible Week 13 performances is Fleener who put up some unbelievable numbers on Sunday. Fleener offered his best performance of the season by totaling 127 receiving yards off of four catches. He also turned two of those catches into touchdowns which resulted in a total of 24.7 fantasy points. With fellow tight end, Dwayne Allen sidelined for injury, Fleener continues to thrive and should be considered a must-start.
