Best Fantasy Football Waiver-Wire Pick-Ups for Week 6

Let’s not waste any time here. If you’re reading this article, there’s a good chance your roster is in need of some help. Take a look at these guys to get things back on track.

Terrelle Pryor - Quarterback, Oakland Raiders

Pryor continues to shine and is only improving with each start.  The Raiders and Pryor walked all over the San Diego Chargers last week, with Pryor finishing the week as the eighth best fantasy quarterback with 19.94 points on 221 yards passing and two touchdowns.  Even when the Raiders aren’t dominating a game like they did this past week, Pryor will still wrack up a ton of garbage time points.  Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Andy Dalton owners should at least consider grabbing Pryor, who despite his success this season, is still only owned in 32.5 percent of leagues.

Willis McGahee - Running Back, Cleveland Browns

McGahee was signed as a free agent to replace Trent Richardson when the Browns traded him to the Indianapolis Colts.  While his yards per carry will never blow you away, McGahee is a sturdy workhorse who will consistently grind it out on the ground for at least 10 fantasy points each week.  With the state of fantasy running backs this year, there’s a good chance that McGahee could be an upgrade on your roster.  He’s currently only owned in 22.2 percent of leagues, which will go up after his top-10 performance this past week.

Terrance Williams - Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys

The highly-polished rookie from Baylor had a breakout performance against Dallas, to the tune of 4 receptions for 151 yards and a touchdown - which was good for fourth best with 23.30 fantasy points.  With Miles Austin often injured and ineffective as the team’s No. 2 receiver, Williams should see a lot more field time from here on out.  Good news for fantasy owners, he’s only owned in 1.3 perfect of leagues right now.
