The Denver Broncos are in need of a win in order to remain in the driver's seat in both the AFC West division race and the larger conference playoff race.
They will, however, be relying on Brock Osweiler for a sixth consecutive game after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that Peyton Manning, still suffering through a foot injury, will be inactive against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Denver boasts a 3-2 record in the five games that Osweiler has started, losing the past two. For his part, the former second-round pick is coming off a four-touchdown performance in a narrow defeat at he hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers this past week.
It remains to be seen whether Manning will be able to go at all this season, playoffs included. He will have missed six games when Monday night's outing draws to a conclusion, leading some to believe that he will be too rusty to go when the playoffs come calling.
