The two things fantasy football owners hate most are injuries and teams who use running back by committee or the "hot hand" approach. With Seattle Seahawks running backs Marshawn Lynch and Thomas Rawls out with injuries, Seahawks' coach Pete Carroll is delivering what fantasy owners fear most.
Carroll told reporters on Friday that Bryce Brown, Christine Michael and Derrick Coleman will all be splitting carries in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns. In what was supposed to be an opportunity for Brown to take advantage of his talents with a matchup against a Cleveland Browns' defense that has allowed 175 rushing yards combined over the last two weeks.
Instead, Brown will share touches with Michael, the former Seahawk who was claimed off Washington's practice squad earlier this week and Coleman. This of course doesn't account for veteran Fred Jackson, who will serve as Seattle's third-down back.
Brown as a risky DFS play before because he still has raw talent he has put on display in the past, but now with the uncertainty of how many touches he will receive, there's just no way you can put either of the four backs into your lineups, no matter how deep the league is. Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett and the Seahawks' D/ST are the only fantasy plays this week.
