Darrelle Revis Ruled Out for Week 12

As the New York Jets prepare for a key division game against the Miami Dolphins, their defense will feel extra pressure to step up with cornerback Darrelle Revis already ruled out for Week 12. Revis, who suffered a concussion last week against the Houston Texans, has not made it through the concussion protocol and won't play Sunday as a result.

Revis' absence in the secondary means Marcus Williams will start in his place. WIlliams, an undrafted free agent in 2014, has been praised by the coaching staff for the work he has put in this year. While Revis has struggled at times this season, this will still be a major blow for New York's secondary and Ryan Tannehill should look to attack the Jets early and often.

It's good news for Dolphins' wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who should have little problem getting open versus this secondary, helping make him a top-15 wide receiver this week. Rishard Matthews also makes for a nice WR3.
