Devonta Freeman Out with a Concussion

Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman exited Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a concussion. Shortly thereafter, the Falcons rulled their top running back out for the remainder of the game: 

Prior to leaving the game, Freeman had put up 43 yards on three attempts, including a run that went for 39 yards. 

As the top fantasy running back thus far this season, the importance of Freeman's injury cannot be overstated. He's now going to have to pass through the concussion protocol before stepping foot on the field again.

Considering how bad the injury looked, and this is pure speculation, it's not a given that Freeman will pass through said protocol in time for next week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
