Lost in the mass hysteria of the Dallas Cowboys late-game comeback against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, wide receiver Dez Bryant left the sideline with trainers in the fourth quarter while showing a considerable limp.
The initial diagnosis of a foot injury was clarified by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones immediately after his team's dramatic win in the season opener.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett went on to indicate that Bryant will miss 4-6 weeks, but that seems to be somewhat of an optimistic timetable for said injury.
Either way, Romo's favorite target in the passing game will miss substantial action. This means that Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley will be the Cowboys starting receivers until Bryant is able to return.
Williams caught five passes for 60 yards on eight targets while Beasley added four catches for 49 yards in the big Cowboys win Sunday night. At this point, Williams is owned in just 22 percent of fantasy leagues around the fake football world. He's a must get on the waiver wire.
