The 2016 fantasy football season is drawing to a conclusion. In fact, most of the leagues concluded with championship week this past weekend. Though, for those of you taking part in the championship round during the final week of the regular season, here are a few streaming options for you to consider.
Colin Kaepernick, Quarterback, San Francisco 49ers
Normally, we'd definitely recommend against starting Kaepernick against a stout Seattle Seahawks defense. Unfortunately, some of you are now in a situation where you might have to consider it. With Marcus Mariota and Derek Carr now lost for Week 17, the question here is whether you'd rather have Kaepernick or the likes of Matt Cassel and Matt McGloin.
For his part, Kaepernick has put up 250-plus yards in six of his 10 starts this season. He's also tallied 17 total touchdowns compared to just four interceptions on the season. In reality, Kaepernick has been a QB1 option in seven of his 10 starts this season. That's simply stunning considering where he was at last season.
Shaun Draughn, Running Back, San Francisco 49ers
Streaming 49ers players against Seattle's defense seems to be a bit absurd on the surface. That's until we realized Carlos Hyde is out for Week 17 with a sprained MCL. Draughn put up 65 total yards on 16 touches against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday.
Also important to note here, San Francisco put up 135 rushing yards against Seattle earlier this season. That's the second-most yards the Seahawks have given up on the ground all season.
Alex Collins, Running Back, Seattle Seahawks
With Thomas Rawls potentially out next week due to a shoulder injury, this rookie should be given an opportunity to see a ton of touches against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17. Collins saw 100 percent of the team's touches from the running back position Saturday against Arizona after Rawls went down to injury. Collins responded by putting up 47 yards on 11 touches.
Now set to take on a 49ers defense that's given up the most fantasy points and most rushing yards to running backs on the season, look for Collins to have a huge game. That's only magnified by the fact that Seattle will want to see what it has in the running game heading into the playoffs.
Adam Thielen, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings
Thielen is coming off a monstrous performance against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, putting up 202 yards and two touchdowns on 12 receptions. It's his second 100-yard performance in three games. Now set to take on a Bears defense that's yielded the sixth-most fantasy points to receivers, look for a tremendous season-ending performance from Thielen here.
Cameron Meredith, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears
In reality, Meredith has been a tremendous find in the fake football world this season. Here's a guy that's put up 60-plus receiving yards in each of the past four games. He's also coming off two consecutive 100-yard games, including a 135-yard, one-touchdown outing against the Washington Redskins on Saturday.
Interestingly, Meredith has a pretty solid matchup this upcoming weekend against a Vikings defense that's given up 30-plus points in each of the past two games.
Charles Clay, Tight End, Buffalo Bills
Clay has obviously picked it up big time as of late. He's coming off an eight-catch, two-touchdown outing against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. In fact, Clay has put up four touchdowns in the past three games. During that span, he's caught 15-of-23 passes. With a game coming up against a weak Jets defense to conclude the season, Clay is surely a top streaming option.
