Fantasy Football Week 3: Vikings' Sam Bradford Seemingly On Track to Play

After missing last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a knee injury, it's trending in the direction of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford playing Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is most definitely good news for a Vikings squad that had to rely on Case Keenum under center in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

Despite his limitations (23rd among QBs in fantasy points last season), Bradford is definitely a relevant fake football option. He completed 27-of-32 passes for 346 yards with three scores and zero picks in a Week 1 win over New Orleans. It seems Bradford is much more comfortable in Minnesota's system after having a full offseason to perfect it.

Though, the quarterback's performance in Week 1 could be seen more as an outlier than anything else. After all, New Orleans has yielded nearly 400 passing yards per game with an 80 percent completion mark and 141-plus QB rating through two games.

It promises to get much more difficult against what has to be considered an improved Buccaneers defense on Sunday. Even then, Bradford remains a viable DFS play and potential low-end QB1 option in year-long leagues.
