Fantasy Football Week 4 Injury Report

Josh McCown, Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Doubtful: Thumb)

McCown will not be ready to go against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. This means that Mike Glennon will get the start for the winless Buccaneers. If you are relying on either of these two quarterbacks, good luck.

Jake Locker, Quarterback, Tennessee Titans (Questionable: Wright)

Following a solid Week 1 performance, it seemed that Locker was a viable bottom-tier QB1 option. After two horrendous performances in a row, Locker has become fantasy irrelevant. With the young quarterback unlikely to go in this one, Charlie Whitehurst (aka Clipboard Jesus) will get the start. Avoid, avoid and...avoid.

Arian Foster, Running Back, Houston Texans (Questionable: Hamstring)

The team is expressing confidence that Foster will be able to go against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Check the early morning inactives for clarification, but it's safe to pencil him in right now. In the unlikely scenario that Foster won't be able to go, Alfred Blue becomes a decent FLEX option in this one.

Ryan Mathews, Running Back, San Diego Chargers (Out: Knee)

With Matthews out for a few more weeks and Danny Woodhead lost for the season, Donald Brown becomes a must start against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that ranks 30th in the NFL against fantasy running backs.

Jonathan Stewart, Running Back, Carolina Panthers (Questionable: Knee)

Stewart is likely going to be a game-time decision against the Ravens. Even if he is ready to go, Stewart will be a fantasy non-factor. DeAngelo Williams is set to play after missing each of the last two games. He'll be the primary ball carrier in this one.

Knowshon Moreno, Running Back, Miami Dolphins (Out: Elbow)

With Moreno out of action for a substantial amount of time due to an elbow injury, Lamar Miller has been handling a bulk of Miami's rush attempts. He put up 132 yards on 19 touches against Kansas City last week. Now going up against an Oakland Raiders defense that ranks in the bottom eight of the NFL against fantasy running backs, Miller becomes a solid RB2 option.

Mark Ingram, Running Back, New Orleans Saints (Out: Hand)

Khiry Robinson has been getting a majority of the carries with Ingram out, and don't expect that to change too much against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Though, it must be noted that the Cowboys rank in the top 10 against fantasy running backs this season.

Calvin Johnson, Wide Receiver, Detroit Lions (Questionable: Ankle)

Johnson is likely to go against the New York Jets on Sunday. Set your lineups accordingly, as he's going to have a huge game against a horrendous Rex Ryan-led secondary.

Eric Decker, Wide Receiver, New York Jets (Questionable: Hamstring)

Decker has indicated that he'll be ready to go this week. But in all honesty, he's a player you shouldn't even be starting right now. The free agent signee doesn't even lead the Jets in targets and receptions on the season. That tells us a story of someone that's simply not fantasy relevant right now.

Brandon Marshall, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears (Questionable: Ankle)

Pretty much like every week this season, Marshall finds himself on the injury report. Not nearly at 100 percent, there should be some concern about him as an elite WR1 option. With that said, Marshall should be ready to go against Green Bay. This will be a case of us checking in on inactives on Sunday.

Marqise Lee, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (Out: Hamstring)

With Lee out again this week, Allen Robinson becomes a solid FLEX option in standard leagues and a nice value play in daily leagues. He's coming off a seven-catch performance against the Indianapolis Colts and should receive his fair share of targets from Blake Bortles, who is making his first NFL start. Cecil Shorts is also a decent value play against San Diego.

Harry Douglas, Wide Receiver, Atlanta Falcons (Questionable: Foot)

Not really a big deal in the fantasy world, Douglas isn't that much of a factor with Roddy White getting closer to being 100 percent. If you're relying on Douglas as a FLEX option Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, he's likely going to suit up and play. This is bigger news for those who have picked up Devin Hester off the waiver wire, as he's unlikely to see many snaps on offense.

Rod Streater, Wide Receiver, Oakland Raiders (Out: Foot)

It's unknown whether Streater will return at all this season, but he's definitely out against the Miami Dolphins in London. Andre Holmes has seen an average of 31 snaps over the past two weeks. He figures to be Oakland's No. 3 receiver in this one. Even then, he's not really fantasy relevant.

Jarrett Boykin, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers (Questionable: Knee)

No longer the Packers No. 3 receiver, Boykin really doesn't hold any fantasy value. While he will likely suit up on Sunday, I'd rather go with rookie Davante Adams against the Bears.

Vernon Davis, Tight End, San Francisco 49ers (Questionable: Ankle)

Davis will be a game-time decision, but he was able to participate to some extent in practice this week. The valuable tight end also showed some confidence that he will be ready to go against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Check the inactives, but expect him to be good to go. Philadelphia ranks in the bottom half of the NFL against fantasy tight ends, but its struggles at cornerback will likely lead to Colin Kaepernick looking more at attacking with Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin

Ladarius Green, Tight End, San Diego Chargers (Questionable: Hamstring)

Green will also be a game-time decision. He's also someone you might want to consider as a buy-low option in daily leagues. The Jacksonville Jaguars rank 31st in the NFL against fantasy tight ends. As with Davis, check out inactives prior to locking your lineup. But this is a bit more tricky, as Fanduel requires lineups be set prior to the early games. Either way, I'd expect Green to go.

Delanie Walker, Tight End, Tennessee Titans (Questionable: Shoulder)

Walker expects to play against Buffalo, so you should set your lineups accordingly. The seventh-ranked fantasy tight end through three weeks will be going up against a Buffalo Bills defense that ranks in the bottom 10 of the league against fantasy tight ends.

Kyle Rudolph, Tight End, Minnesota Vikings (Out: Groin)

Rhett Ellison will be starting for Minnesota while Rudolph is out. He's not necessarily a player you should be looking at in any league format.
