Shortly after he was waived by the Arizona Cardinals, troubled wide receiver Michael Floyd found himself catch on with the New England Patriots. 

The Pats picked up Floyd off waiver Thursday, mere days after a DUI arrest led to his exit from the Arizona Cardinals. 

A first-round pick of Arizona back in 2012, Floyd never lived up to expectations in the desert. His best performance came back in 2013, when the former Notre Dame standout caught 65 passes for 1,041 yards and five touchdowns. Even then, he caught just over 50 percent of the passes thrown in his direction.
