Fantasy Impact of Ryan Tannehill's ACL Injury

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill reportedly suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals. This is an absolutely huge blow for a Dolphins team that's right in the thick of the AFC Playoff race. It means that Matt Moore will take over under center.

From a fantasy perspective, this is rather big news. Tannehill ranks 18th among quarterbacks in fantasy points, so he's likely been nothing more than a QB2 option on most fantasy teams. Though, in deeper league's with 18-to-24 teams, this could have wide-ranging ramifications.

Outside of the quarterback position, Jarvis Landry will be most impacted by the Tannehill injury. He's currently a mid-tier WR2 option in standard 12-team leagues and ranks among the top receivers in terms of target distribution. With Moore now under center for the final three games, this promises to change.

Though, an argument can be made that Jay Ajayi will see an uptick in production with Miami being forced to rely on him even more down the stretch.
