After missing all of last season to an indefinite suspension after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the league has reinstated Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant. It's a conditional reinstatement that requires him to do a bunch of different things in order to see the field again for Pittsburgh.
Bryant, 25, remains one of the most-talented young receivers in the game. Back in 2015, the former Clemson standout recorded 50 receptions or 765 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games. That season saw him suspended for four games after also violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
While we pretty much have to stay away from Bryant when it comes to the early rounds of upcoming fantasy football drafts, he could be worth a late-round flyer in re-draft leagues. Pittsburgh lost Markus Wheaton in free agency and will be looking for Bryant to be its No. 2 receiver behind Antonio Brown should he actually see the field.
From a dyno perspective, we pretty much have to avoid Bryant. There's very little reason to rely on him over the long term. If the receiver were to be suspended again, that would likely equate to a life-time ban. Chances like that are not worth it in the fake football world.
