After suffering a concussion in Week 4, Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams has finally been cleared to return to the field. The Bills take on the Miami Dolphins at home on Sunday, with both teams sitting at 3-4 and in search of cracking the .500 mark at the halfway point of the season.
Williams was off to an excellent start through his first four games in the NFL, averaging 5.4 yards per carry as he rushed 42 times for 226 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Williams also showed some receiving ability, pitching in five receptions for 46 receiving yards and one touchdown.
When Williams took over for an injured LeSean McCoy, he was a must-add in fantasy football and one of the hot names who everyone wanted in DFS. But now more than a month later with McCoy back in the lineup and his hamstring looking much better, Williams will not see the same opportunities as before to contribute.
He is worth hanging onto in the case McCoy gets hurt again, something that is within reason given the nature of hamstring injuries, but with only six-to-10 expected touches, Williams should be kept out of all fantasy lineups.
