Kiko Alonso and Mychal Kendricks Ruled Out for the Game

In the midst of an offensive pillow fight between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, the Eagles were dealt a major blow to their linebacker corps. Kiko Alonso, who made the sensational interception last week against the Atlanta Falcons, left the game with a left knee injury.

Alonso was ruled out almost immediately upon leaving in the second quarter, which is definitely concerning given it's the same knee where he tore his ACL last season. The Eagles acquired Alonso this offseason from the LeSean McCoy trade.

Shortly after Alonso was ruled out, fellow linebacker Mychal Kendricks was being examined by trainers due to a hamstring injury. The Eagles could not afford to lose Kendricks, but that now appears to be the case.

With Alonso and Kendricks out for the game, it puts extra pressure on DeMeco Ryans to step up into a bigger role. The Eagles will be in major trouble if both are out for an extended period of time, forcing Brad Jones into a starting role.
