LeSean McCoy Could Sit Out Week 4

By now, it's rather obvious that Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy isn't where he wants to be in recovering from a preseason hamstring injury. After putting up 116 total yards on 18 touches against the New England Patriots in Week 2, McCoy tallied just 16 yards on 11 attempts against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Dealing with the nagging hamstring injury, McCoy was seen on the sideline the vast majority of Buffalo's blowout win on Sunday. The concern here is that he's seen a regression in rebounding from said injury.

Bills head coach Rex Ryan hinted at the possibility McCoy may be given a rest this upcoming week against the New York Giants.

If the team's medical staff decides McCoy should be given some rest, Ryan is likely to follow suit. If so, rookie Karlos Williams will see the bulk of the touches against the Giants. Williams put up 110 yards and a touchdown on 12 attempts against Miami.

Despite a limited amount of carries (24 in three weeks), Williams is the ninth-ranked fantasy running back. Though, almost all of that has to do with the three touchdowns he's scored thus far.
