The defending champion Denver Broncos will be trotting out a quarterback with zero regular season experience to be their starter this season. The team named Trevor Siemian its starting quarterback for Week 1. He beat out veteran Mark Sanchez and rookie Paxton Lynch for the starting job.
Though, it's highly unlikely that Siemian will be a fantasy option this season. We can expect Denver's offense to run more through the ground game with C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker.
That brings us to our next point. Booker has apparently beat out Ronnie Hillman for the backup running back job. Not only has this made Hillman's spot on the 53-man roster questionable, it has many thinking Booker could be a solid late-round handcuff option to Anderson. In fact, Siemian winning the starting job magnifies this even further.
Is Robert Griffin III a draftable commodity in 12-team leagues? His performance thus far during the preseason suggests that he might very well be. Not only has the new Cleveland Browns starter performed well (60 percent completion rate, three touchdowns and one pick), he's connected well with Terrelle Pryor and Josh Gordon. That's absolutely huge news for the former Washington malcontent.
When assuming each team is going to roster two quarterbacks, and taking into account RGIII's upside, it's not hard to believe he's worthy of being considered a top-24 fantasy quarterback. If so, he's definitely rosterable.
Tennessee Titans running backs have dominated the preseason stage. Former NFL Offensive Player of the Year DeMarco Murray is averaging 8.1 yards on 19 attempts. Meanwhile, reigning Heisman winner Derrick Henry has put up 154 yards and two scores on 27 attempts.
With an ADP that has him as the 18th running back off the board, Murray has to be considered a solid value. Meanwhile, Henry's ADP has him going off the board in the ninth round. That's not a shabby stack option right there.
