The Philadelphia Eagles had high expectations for rookie wide receiver Nelson Agholor heading into the season. Unfortunately, like most of the Eagles offense through the first five games, the first-round pick has struggled a great deal with consistency.
The USC product has put up a total of eight receptions for 105 yards without a touchdown in five games. He's also catching less than 50 percent of the passes thrown in his direction.
Agholor's early-season struggles now take on a new meaning. He injured his ankle last week against the New Orleans Saints hand has been ruled out of Monday's NFC East clash with the New York Giants.
Despite his struggles, Agholor had been among the Eagles top receivers on base downs and three-wide sets. With him out of action, second-year receiver Josh Huff should see increased playing time and a nice amount of targets against a questionable Giants defense.
Huff is coming off a Week 5 performance that saw him put up four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown on five targets. Unless you are in a pinch in year-long or dyno leagues, he's pretty much a non-factor, especially if you are in a 12-team league.
In terms of weekly contests, Huff becomes a decent under-the-radar play as a WR3 or FLEX. He's $3,100 in DraftKings contests and $5,300 on FanDuel.
Not bad against a Giants team that ranks in the bottom 10 of the NFL against fantasy receivers on both sites.
