Odell Beckham Misses Practice Friday, Could Still Play in Week 6

Despite missing practice all week, New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham has not been ruled out for Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Because the team is playing on Monday, Beckham still has Saturday to get in some practice time, but it isn't mandatory in order to play this week.

Giants' coach Tom Coughlin made it clear that the team's star receiver could still play this week even if his hamstring kept him out of practice all week. it is a good sign for fantasy owners who were growing pessimistic over Beckham missing practice, but there should still remain some concern.

While there have been reports of Beckham moving well on the side and working out his hamstring, New York could still be careful with this injury and hold him out. Beckham missed time with a hamstring injury last year and it's been a known problem for him in the past, so it would make sense to take caution.

But the Giants do seem fairly optimistic and they absolutely need him for a division road game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The NFC East has been ugly to start off the season, but with three straight wins, New York is on the climb towards having more control in the division. If Beckham is able to play, he is a must-start against an Eagles' secondary that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
