Organized team activities are a rookie's first chance to impress his new teammates, coaches, and now fans. Beat writers have been tweeting their thoughts, and blogging their analysis of each team's OTAs so far.
The NFC East is no different, as some of the best young talent in the NFL is in the division, all working out in OTAs.
Here is a look at a few players so far this offseason.
Jordan Matthews - Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles
Matthews was the Eagles' second round pick this year, but is getting all the hype of a first rounder. Eagles beat writers are loving what Matthews has showed in OTAs so far.
Whether or not he can meet those expectations in year one is yet to be seen. But as far as OTAs are concerned, he looks to be on the right track under Chip Kelly.
Zack Martin - Offensive Line, Dallas Cowboys
It is a bit unfortunate that the one thing we all think of when it comes to Martin in OTAs so far is the block that ended Sean Lee's season.
Martin has been struggling at times to adjust to right guard, but that is expected due to the fact that he played left tackle last year at Notre Dame. It is also worth noting that Martin has lined up at center at OTAs.
Weston Richburg - Offensive Line, New York Giants
Richburg is loving New York already, which bodes well for everyone involved.
What Richburg brings to the Giants is an instant starter, whether it be at center or guard, that will be an above average player right away. From what we are reading about Giants OTAs is the fact that he has lined up at both spots, adding to his already high value.
Morgan Moses - Offensive Line, Washington Redskins
Moses has been playing at left tackle so far in OTAs, but will be in line to start at right tackle once the season begins. As ESPN's Redskins writer John Keim said, he needed to see progression from Moses at the point of attack. So far, it seems that Moses is doing just that.
Ryan Clark also had some good words to say about pass-rusher Trent Murphy
