T.J. Yeldon Starts, Works Exclusively With First-Team Offense

If there was any indication who the Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to be the team's primary ball-carrier this season, that might have been answered Friday night against the Detroit Lions.

Head coach Gus Bradley and company decided to give rookie second-round pick T.J. Yeldon exclusive first-team reps with Denard Robinson backing him up.

The Alabama product responded by putting up just 10 yards on either attempts with a touchdown.

As much as we want to value Yeldon as a potential RB2 option this year, he has not given us much reason to place that much stock in him. While the touchdown was nice, averaging 1.2 yards per rush wasn't.

With an ADP in the sixth round, Yeldon doesn't strike me as a value play. The likes of Ameer Abdullah, Giovani Bernard and Chris Ivory are all going behind him on average.
